ItS SHowtIME Inaugural Peninsula Easter Egg Hunt Set to Create Eggs-travaganza Local company Showtime Attractions is bringing Easter early to the Mornington Peninsula, with the launch of the inaugural Peninsula Easter Egg Hunt.
Coinciding with the start of April school holidays, The Eggs travaganza will be set on the greens of the Mornington Race Course with plenty to do for the whole family, including an enormous Easter Egg Hunt with more than 500,000 eggs to be found.
Live music, character shows, craft activities, rides and amusements will also be on offer, so bring your picnic and enjoy a day out with the family.
The main stage will feature family favourites Caramello Koala ,Freddo and The Cadbury Bunny , along with live music from the Miley Montana Tribute show, favourite bears Yogi Boo Boo and the whole family will be dancing the afternoon away with the tunes of BABBA.
Children aged 3 to12 can take part in the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt and share in 500,000 Cadbury eggs .
Other activities include a free magical craft village where kids can make an Easter card, bunny mask, sand art or decorate a foam bunny.
Rides and amusements include Dodgems, Tramps, Sizzler, Tea Cups, Dino and Jet Ride, Giant Slide, Jumping Castles and much more.
Families are sure to enjoy a magical day so be sure to pack a picnic and come along to join in the Easter fun.
The inaugural Peninsula Easter Egg Hunt is proudly supported by Showtime Attractions, Cadbury and Mornington Race Course.
The Peninsula Easter Egg Hunt runs from 10 00am 4 00pm Saturday 9 April 2011 at Mornington Racecourse, Racecourse Road, Mornington.
Gates open 9 00am and tickets are available from Ticketek on 132849 or www.ticketek.com.au Tickets are 24 per person or family pass for 85 2 adults 2 children unlimited ride tickets are also available for 25 pre event sales only or 35 on the day.
Children must be accompanied by a parent.
Children under 3 years are NOT permitted to take part in the egg hunt, for safety reasons.
Children 12 years or younger must have parental consent to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt.
Local business owner and Frankston South resident Keith Brown is founding Director of Showtime Attractions with its head office in Carrum Downs and branches across Australia and New Zealand.
Showtime Attractions has been operating since the mid nineties and is a very successful business supporting other local businesses, investing over 2 million a year locally from suppliers.
It provides licensed entertainment to most major shopping centres including Westfield Australia-wide including shows featuring Dreamworks and Warner Bros characters.
Showtime Attractions recently won the worldwide license to stage the Happy Feet 2 Show for Warner Bros that will be released later this year.
Keith also employs people locally including performers, seamstresses and cabinet makers creating customised stage props and costumes.
At peak times like Christmas, this is over 5000 staff and sub-contractors.
