50 good life, february - march, april 2011 a r t s galleries and antiques Art work from the renowned Northern Territory Aboriginal community of Utopia will be show cased at this year's Australian Formula One Grand Prix in March.
Forty artists and over sixty artworks will be represented in an exhibition in the corporate offices on Pit Lane at the Albert Park racetrack.
The exhibition is at the request of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation which provides corporate facilities to drivers, team owners, Formula One management, Grand Prix directors and celebrities.
Mbantua Fine Art Gallery of Main Street Mornington was approached earlier this year by the Grand Prix Corporation to supply Indigenous artwork because of the galleries reputation and the quality of the art in their collection.
Mbantua's Mornington gallery director Rozsika Hayes-Marshall was thrilled by the Corporations request to be a part of this year's event it is an unbelievable chance to showcase some of the very finest Utopian art to the cream of world motor sport , said Ms Hayes-Marshall, Opportunity to raise the profile of the gallery as well as the art and artists of Utopia is a real coup for Mbantua and the Mornington Peninsula .
Ms Hayes-Marshall said, It is a challenge to decide from the thousands of pieces in the galleries collection, which artworks to exhibit .
She said, there are some restrictions on ceiling height, however there are many fine works that will stun and amaze the high flyers of the Formula One world .
The exhibition will be installed in the middle of March and remain on display until the end of the Grand Prix on the 27th of March.

Hand-made jewellery by Tonia Vertigan and Hugo Stieger adorn the cabinet the Exhibition room which doubles as a private dining space is full of the vibrant abstract art of John Hanson.
Funky fun sculpture by Gary Goodrich is keeping John s work company so come along enjoy yet another great range of Art at Noel s Gallery.
Functions family gatherings are a specialty.
