The couple met during their days in London whilst working in Sir Terence Conran s restaurants.
Anna continued to work for Sir Terence and Ashley went on to run the Top floor restaurant at a well know London city restaurant Smiths of Smithfields .
Ashley did his training in the kitchens of England as well as Monte Carlo.
Anna s career started whilst studying at RMIT and doing a traineeship at The Grand Hyatt Melbourne.
The couple moved back to Mt Eliza a few years ago with their young family.
They both worked at some of the Mornington Peninsula s prestigious wineries before purchasing this business of their own.
Spoon offers a smart but casual dining experience in cosy surrounding with a European feel.
The menu changes to incorporate the best seasonal and local produce available.
Spoon is open Tuesday to Saturday evenings from 5.30 for dinner, Wednesday to Friday from midday for lunch and also Sunday from 10am for brunch and snacks.
Sunday roasts and lunch are also served from midday on Sunday.
