GoodLife: Peninsula Style, Issue 39, Page 067 (transcription)

As ever at the Grand Hotel in Mornington we were treated to generous hospitality and added to this was the great entertainment provided by the Peninsula Light Opera Society team who performed numbers from their Sound of Music show.
Many thanks to Annette SanFilippo who took over the role of MC and Melissa and Amy who did a great job keeping us on track.
As usual with our Christmas lunch we cut down our raffles and auctions and concentrated on toys which were given to the Salvation Army in Mornington and Anglicare for distribution to less fortunate children in the area.
Many thanks to our wonderful guests who went to the trouble of choosing and wrapping a fabulous assortment of gifts.
Janet McCahon, representing Breakfast for the Homeless was also delighted when at the end of the day we were able to hand over a cheque for just under 2000.
The children from Chipp's stole our hearts but the light also shone brightly on the delightful guest models from Yoko, Belle Cose, Geoff Bade, Chris Yates, In Vogue, Bella on Barkly and Annette SanFilippo.
Many thanks to them all for donating their time and for a wonderful showcase of fashion.
This was our 16th Charity Lunch and especially in what have been difficult times for many we thank our very generous clients for their support and our charming ladies who lunch.
We look forward to seeing you all next time - Mary, Arthur and the Girls Geoff Bade Chris Yates Chipps Childrens Invogue Shoes Grand Hotel Mornington www.gdlife.com.au 67
