A Word From The Students We re in year 11 at Balcombe Grammar School this year.
We re amongst the first group of students to go through VCE at Balcombe Grammar this is a great opportunity as there are only 29 students in the year level, with 33 subjects to choose from.
Our classes are very small, on average the classes consists of 7 students to one teacher.
Our P.E class has only 4 students in it, and it s almost like being tutored 1 on 1 by your teacher.
Having just started year 11, we can already tell how much extra help we are receiving, the amount of help we will be able to get, how easy it will be to concentrate and learn everything the teacher is explaining.
We completed Unit 1 and 2 Psychology in 2010 we are now moving on to Units 3 and 4 for 2011, there are only 7 students in the class.
Being a unit 3 and 4 subject, we are expecting to receive a lot more work, but with the small class size we will be able to get more personal help with our learning.
Our science block is brand new, and our art building opens in the next couple of weeks, our facilities continue to be top of the range to learn in.
The teacher-student relationship is great, being in small classes you can ask a question and instantly have a detailed explanation, teachers are happy to help and the classes are fun.
