the Big 'O' Delighted their 350 strong audience at the Peninsula Community Theatre in May.
Delighting Audiences across the Peninsula Drawcard Entertainment has set in place a fabulous program of shows sure to delight audiences across the Peninsula.
Director Norbert Graetzer has booked many live performances at the Peninsula Community Theatre in Mornington recognizing the facility for its convenient location and excellent facilities and is committed to changing the face of entertainment in the region.
Norbert has also organised other venues for dinner shows and more intimate audience numbers.
For example at Harba and Peppers Moonah Links which are in the planning stages.
With an interesting and diverse background in marketing and business management in corporate and public organisations Norbert has also been heavily involved in fundraising and charitable concerns, sporting and social and service groups.
He has spent most of the last 45 years involved in sport football tennis as a player, coach administrator, and is currently President of St Mary s Salesian AFC, after spending years at Hawthorn as a trainer.
Importantly he has also spent most of his life connected in one way or the other in music and charity work and 3 years ago set up Drawcard Entertainment working closely with his many contacts including John Wells the Big O .
It is this combination of entertainment allied to charities and fundraising for community ventures that is his driving force.
Being very passionate about whatever I take on, I envisaged something different for venues and patrons.
Ensuring the Artists are well looked after is also very important but making sure that part of what we achieve would be of some assistance to worthy charities is paramount.
John Wells and Norbert organised up to 15 Bushfire Fundraising Events, including one at the Casino dedicated to all the firefighters and volunteers which raised large amounts for devastated communities.
Just recently they organised a major music fundraising event at the Drum Theatre in Dandenong for flood victims.
Close to 700 patrons attended and contributed substantially to the cause.
I am really looking forward to creating something very special and unique for the community at the Peninsula Community Theatre by putting on top quality day and night shows at a very reasonable cost to patrons.
Every show will have an element connected to raising funds through either auctions or raffles for worthy local community organisations or individuals who have suffered a loss.
Norbert and his fianc e Sue are looking forward to making the Peninsula their home and working with local organisations to make a difference by providing exciting and affordable entertainment options whilst assisting community interests.
