galleriesand antiques The Derinya Art Craft Exhibition, 29-31 July 2011 The 2011 Derinya Art Craft Exhibition -DACE is a spectacular event showcasing the talents of emerging established Victorian local artists.
The 36th Derinya Art Craft Exhibition will continue to feature a diverse range of artwork.
It will include over 400 works of traditional styles to contemporary paintings an array of craft, jewellery, sculpture, glassware, photography, ceramics, furniture and textiles.
All works are for sale at the event.
WHAT'S NEW IN 2011 Hickinbotham Wines will be our exclusive wine supplier in 2011, with Andrew and Terryn Hickinbotham working behind the bar on opening night.
Their award-winning range of cool climate wines will also be available to purchase over the course of the exhibition at cellar door prices.
NEW VENUE - With the recent opening of the Derinya Stadium, we have gained a fantastic new venue in which to house DACE.
The spacious stadium is located to the left-hand side of the school as you enter the front gates, and will comfortably accommodate all our art, craft and jewellery under the one roof.
Our ever-popular Ruby Tarts Caf will be back in 2011, also situated within the new building, selling hot and cold beverages, soup, toasted sandwiches and delicious cakes.
So come in out of the cold and warm the soul with some fabulous artworks, a slice of cake and a coffee or two The renowned exhibition will be featuring Guest Artist Heather Runting.
Heather is largely a self taught photographer based on the Mornington Peninsula specialising in fine art portraiture fine art d cor photography.
Our Craft Artist Leisa Wharington has been working with glass for over 20 years.
In her Mornington Peninsula based studio, she creates designs that know few boundaries.
This year s Jewellery Artist is Melbourne based Caroline Jones.
