You Asked We Delivered Dr John Osborne started the Mornington Peninsula Dental Clinic in 1976 in Hast Court on Main Street, Mornington.
Because of rapid growth it was necessary, in 1985, to custom build a five surgery clinic at 354 Main Street.
Again, because of growth, it has been necessary to build more surgeries to bring down the waiting time for appointments.
All the staff at the clinic are proud to announce the opening of a new, state-ofthe-art, dental practice at 117 Tanti Avenue at the beginning of June.
354 Main Street will be retained as a dental surgery.
The project has demanded much planning over the last five years with great attention to detail given to ensure comfort and ease for the patients.
John is very appreciative of the support of the public and believes that the philosophy he has always held that modern dentistry has a major part in the health and comfort of all age groups and that it should be available at a reasonable fee.
He also believes in strong postgraduate education for the whole team and everybody at both sites are constantly being updated with the very latest information on treatment availabilities, patient safety and infection control.
All treatment modalities are available at the Mornington Peninsula Dental Clinic and, for the patient's convenience, we have visiting specialists so that individual cases can be discussed between the treating dentist and the specialist in front of the patient.
The clinic has operating rights at The Bays Hospital for those people who prefer their dentistry performed whilst they are asleep.
Hygienists and a visiting periodontic specialist ensure excellence in the treatment of gum disease and its prevention.
Dental therapists have huge experience treating children to make the appointments as pleasant as possible and John, himself, has a specialist degree in children's dentistry.
