La P tanque is proud to announce the arrival of their new Head Chef Stuart Deller.
Stuart has extensive experience in fine dining restaurants in Australia and also overseas.
Stuart s seasonal modern French cuisine has been particularly influenced while working alongside iconic chefs Marco Pierre White in London, Alla Wolf-Tasker at The Lake House and more recently at The Argus Dining Room Hepburn Springs with Ryan Sessions.
Stuart says I am particularly interested in seasonal cuisine focusing on the best local produce available as well as game prepared together with subtle combination of flavors and textures I like using heirloom ingredients, rare vegetables, leaves and edible flowers as well as foraged leaves, mushrooms, wildly growing herbs pollens.
Stuart is very excited to lead and make his mark on one of the best restaurants in the country.
After receiving a Chef s Hat last year, La P tanque completed the restaurant transformation by enclosing the outside deck with bi-folding doors allowing service in all weather conditions.
The change of atmosphere is impressive the sensation of space and proximity to nature is fabulous.
The feeling of been immersed in the scenery, surrounded by nature while dinning is quite unique.
The A La Carte is available everyday for lunch and Friday and Saturday for dinner.
