Raising Awareness for Support for Mums Resident and counsellor Eryka Rhodes of the Mornington Peninsula, is organising 'A Night Out for Support for Mums.' As a mother of two and running a small business, Eryka believes self care is important and It is with great pleasure she invites you to participate in the upcoming event, Celebrate Mum , raising awareness for the not-for- profit organisation Support for Mums, supporting mums and their families through circumstantial crisis.
Crisis may be described as a parent diagnosed with Post Natal Depression, the birth of a premature baby, an unwell or injured family member or any other crisis assessed as causing the family a hardship unable to function as normal.
The night is about women coming together celebrating mums and finding out about what Support for Mums is, as well as enjoying a night of food, chat, freebies and chances to win amazing local products.
The event will be held at the Mornington Golf Club, Tallis Dve on Friday 3rd August.
For 2 hrs women will come together in support of each other.
The evening will provide an opportunity to gain information about the services provided in an informal gathering a chance to have a drink, some finger food, and a chat.
There will be door prizes, a raffle, pampering packs from local businesses, take home goodie bags and of course a huge thank you and acknowledgement for those who have generously contributed, critical in making it all happen.
