One of Simone s horses named Sass planted the seed for a business name that would incorporate the fact that brides can and do look Sassy on their wedding day and decided to bring the word bride into the mix and voila Sass and Bride was born.
She always wanted to capture the beauty of brides and horses together in keeping with the integrity and importance of a Wedding Day.
As an accomplished rider it was only a natural progression in her adult life to include her love of horses.
She grew up with them and her youth was spent with her father at Polo matches.
As she approached her teens she spent every moment away from school at the Australia Equestrian Academy in Queenscliff where she had two horses in work.
Horses are in my blood and are an integral part of my life , says Simone with passion.
She added that connecting with a horse and building a bond with them is as strong as the bond with one s family .
The challenge for Simone was to find the right horses - horses that were engaging in the photos and interested in people and the excitement of the day.
She purposely trains her horses single handedly and the hard work and patience has paid off which is evident in her animals wonderful temperaments.

Simone explains, You don t have to be horsey , you can have the horse in the background or you can just hold the reins whilst leaning on a fence, whatever you feel comfortable with.
