La P tanque is celebrating the seasons by introducing their new spring menu and their recently awarded Chef s Hat by The Age Good Food Guide for 2012 and 2013.
La P tanque is situated at the border of Red Hill and Main Ridge on the scenic road between Arthur Seat Road and Flinders.
Escape the ordinary sit back on the recently completed enclosed deck and reconnect with simplicity by contemplating sweeping views over vineyards and olive groves.
The contemporary designed restaurant is an idyllic place to stop and sample superb modern French cuisine.
The elegant new dining room was recently completed with floor to ceiling windows making La P tanque perfect for a romantic diner, a special occasion with friends or a tailor made wedding to remember.
The owners Philippe and Judy Marquet are particularly excited at the arrival of their new Head Chef Stuart Deller .
Stuart was trained by iconic Chef Marco Pierre White while working at The Criterion, The Oak Room and the Quovadis, Three Star Michelin in London.
He then moved to Australia and worked at Montalto with Barry Davis and more recently at The Lake House with Alla Wolf-Tasker in Daylesford and with Ryan Sessions at The Argus Dining Room in Hepburn Springs.
With the new spring produces slowly emerging, Stuart is introducing new creative and classic dishes to celebrate the Spring Menu Try the midweek lunch menu Le Menu du March Monday to Friday Two courses for 39, three courses for 57 and four courses for 72.
The A La Carte is available everyday for lunch and Friday and Saturday for dinner.
La P tanque is not only known for their cuisine and creative combination of flavors, but also their wine list.
The Award winning wine list has more than 600 wines.
You can order from 30 wines by the glass, the best selection of local wines or simply try the wine matching suggestions offered with every dish.
